The Maldives weather is almost perfect all year round (26C-30C). The summer months are between December and April. Hotels are at their busiest and most expensive, but the days are perfect, long and sunkissed. From May to August Monsoons can disrupt a day’s activities. This is low season so there are many deals to be grabbed, however we recommend spending the extra money to go in high season as the Maldives is geared towards sunshine living and being there during the rains can be restrictive.
Relax in your luxurious resort or villa, take a spa treatment, lie on a hammock & sip a cocktail… or for the more adventurous take a glass-bottomed boat ride or SCUBA dive in the kaleidoscopic marine wonderland. Windsurfing, canoeing, parasailing and other water sports can be arranged from most hotels, or cultural experiences to local mosques or small island towns.
Getting to the Maldives is not a short journey, but like the world’s best destinations, it is worth every moment of the time it takes to get there. Flying in to Malé it’s then a short hop to our chosen resort, via charter flight or boat transfer. Africa&You will take care of all necessary transfers to ensure a smooth and enjoyable journey to your paradise destination. We will also recommend the best safari destinations to complete your experience and where bests to fly from and to. Contact one of our experts to start planning today!
