From the game rich South Luangwa following the mighty Zambezi all the way down to Victoria Falls... From Livingstone travel to Lilongwe and onto the remote shores of Lake Malawi; this is a true "Out of Africa" experience focusing on excellent big five game viewing, fine dining, true 5 star spa experiences as well as the ultimate in barefoot luxury in a tranquil eco-paradise in Mozambique.

DAY 1 – 4
Upon arrival into Lusaka Airport, you will be met and transferred by plane to Mfuwe Airport. There you will be greeted by a driver and transferred by road to Sanctuary Puku Ridge, where you will stay for 3 nights. The location of Sanctuary Puku Ridge Camp is out of this world. Up on a hill, the views over the floodplain are magnificent and from the comfort of camp guests can witness herds gathering and predators hunting. South Luangwa is one of the most game-rich areas of Africa and lion, leopard and all of the Big 5 are seen regularly. Accommodation is in luxury tents each with indoor and outdoor showers and by staying there you will be doing your bit for the surrounding communities and schools. The primary reason to visit the South Luangwa National Park is the outstanding game viewing. This is the place to spot leopard and the park is said to the place where walking safaris began. Night drives, early morning drives, sunset drives… it’s all about the big game.
Day 4 – 7
On day four you will transfer via light aircraft from Mfuwe Airport to Royal Airstrip with a 5 minute road transfer to Royal Zambezi Lodge. A small but spacious luxury lodge and spa close to one of Zambia’s greatest wildlife viewing destinations. Immerse yourself in the wilderness with the sights and sounds of the bush and the mighty Zambezi river on your doorstep. Vistas stretch far along the river and the lodge’s luxurious facilities and pampering treatments allow for a truly memorable, indulgent and relaxing stay.There are 15 thatched tents with fantastic vistas of the surrounding landscape. Exquisitely furnished with fine linens, designer arm-chairs, all required comforts, they are elegant and provide the ultimate relaxing retreat. Take a game drive from the lodge into the Lower Zambezi National Park to witness big game at it’s best from the open sided vehicles. The river also offers a huge array of activities from fishing, hiking, canoeing, river safaris. Get culturally immersed in the local villages or simply relax by the pool and take in the sights and sounds of the bush.
Day 7 – 9

On day nine you will be transferred via road to Livingstone Airport for your onward travel.
Day 9 – 14
From Livingstone you will fly directly via scheduled charter into Lilongwe Airport. From here a charter boat will take you across onto the shores of the beautiful Lake Malawi. You will spend the next five nights in paradise at Nkwichi. Nkwichi Lodge is an eco-friendly paradise on the unspoilt secluded shores of Lake Malawi. Off-the-grid, it is a tranquil escape with 8 private coves with white sand and clear water where guests can kick of their shoes & enjoy snorkelling, kayaking and swimming. Nkwichi is highly involved with the local communities and volunteer experiences can be arranged, helping to preserve their local Nyanja culture.
