Starting in our signature Game Reserve the Sabi Sands in Kruger National Park all the way to the Garden Route this luxury itinerary is designed for a leisurely honeymoon couple who want to take in the sights and sounds of South Africa in their own time.

Day 1 – 4
Your honeymoon will begin when you land at OR Thambo International Airport and catch a direct internal flight Skukuza Airport within the Kruger National Park. A short road transfer will take you directly to Singita Boulders Lodge where you will spend your first three nights. Boulders Lodge is a contemporary feel, with panoramic views from most parts of the lodge. The name was given as originally when building the wine cellar a huge boulder was in the middle of it. It was simple enough to decide that they would build around it! The lodge overlooks the Sand River which offers guests a perfect game watching vantage from the wrap around deck. Game drives are scheduled twice daily from the lodge with highly skilled guides and trackers. Guided bush walks can be arranged on request. The area is fantastic for birding safaris, and mountain biking, archery and cultural tours can also be arranged.
DAY 4 – 9
Upon arrival at Cape Town International Airport you will be transferred to probably one of Cape Towns best kept secrets; The Cape Cadogan. This boutique hotel has an understated luxury that fits perfectly into the heart of Cape Town. Close to all the local attractions like the bustling Kloof Street, the V&A Waterfront and beautiful beaches, it’s the perfect place to explore this magnificent city. Swim at midnight in the plunge pool, uncork a bottle of fine South African wine at the fireside in your lounge, or simply throw open your windows to enjoy the fantastic Cape Town climate. This itinerary will include a trip to Robben Island, up Table Mountain, Cape Point and Cape Town Winelands.
DAY 09 – 11
On day ten guests will self drive from Cape Town approximately an hour along the N2 to Franschhoek. Here guests will spend two nights in the winelands at The Last Word, Franschhoek. A refined and elegant boutique hotel with a contemporary feel in the heart of the Cape Winelands. Franschhoek is known for it’s award winning wines, historic wine farms and some of the finest eating establishments in all of South Africa. A tree-lined driveway leads up to this time-less luxury hotel amongst the vines. Just 45 minutes from Cape Town this is the ideal base to explore the winelands and all the delights it has on offer.
Day 11 – 14
From Franschhoek you will self drive along the N2 beautiful garden route of South Africa. You will drive to Plettenberg Bay where you will spend three nights at The Plettenburg. The Plettenberg – situated on a rocky headland in one of South Africa’s most spectacular beach towns – is the ultimate escape. The Plettenberg is situated in the heart of Plettenberg Bay, along the adventure–rich Garden Route which is world–renowned for its excellent selection of outdoor activities. From regular dolphin and whale sightings to bungee jumping, treetop canopy tours and other more daring pursuits in the surrounding countryside, The Plettenberg is the ideal place to relax and unwind, recharge and reinvigorate. On day fourteen you will self drive from Plettenberg Bay to George Airport for their onward travel arrangements.
